Yuhigaoka

Yuhigaoka is the temple quarter on the Uemachi plateau, between Shitennoji-mae Yuhigaoka on the Tanimachi line and Ebisucho on the Sakaisuji line. It holds more temples inside its radius than any other area we cover, and the ground rises and falls, which is rare in Osaka: four of the seven slopes of Tennoji are here, Aizenzaka 182 m from the centre, Kuchinawazaka 249 m, Kiyomizuzaka and Tenjinzaka beyond them. Shoman-in is 112 m away, Oe Shrine 139 m, Taihei-ji 148 m, and the Kiyomizu-dera of Osaka, with its waterfall, 350 m. The belt of trees along Shitadera-machi runs through the middle of it.
