Visitor discounts at Osaka stores
These are the stores’ own offers for visitors. DealOsaka has no arrangement with any of these stores and earns nothing from them. A discount is only worth what its conditions let you have, so each one lists where to get it, who it is for and what it leaves out.

Every offer below is tied to tax-free shopping: a tax-free bill, or being eligible to buy tax-free. Japan changes how tax-free shopping works for purchases from 1 November 2026. When these pages were read on 2026-09-27, none of the four said what happens to its coupon after that date.

- Foreign nationals within six months of first arriving in Japan.
- Not for
- Some food, event goods, watch brands, selected women’s clothing and accessories, overseas luxury boutiques and others.

- Cash, UnionPay, Alipay, WeChat Pay and credit cards are accepted with it.
Hankyu Umeda Main Store 阪急うめだ本店
5% off (Guest Coupon)
- Where and how
- B1 overseas customer counter, 1F Information Center or 1F tax-free counter. Passport needed to issue it.
- Who can use it
- Customers eligible to buy tax-free.
- How long
- Seven days including the day it is issued, as many times as you like.
- Not for
- Items under ¥1,000 before tax, sale items, lucky bags, gift vouchers, food, restaurants and cafes, some products and brands. Not with point cards or other offers, and not after you have paid.
- Paying
- Paying by UnionPay, WeChat Pay or Alipay takes 5% off directly instead; the coupon cannot be used with those.
Hanshin Umeda Main Store 阪神梅田本店

- Customers eligible to buy tax-free.

Don Quijote ドン・キホーテ
5% off ¥10,000+, 7% off ¥30,000+ (before tax)
- Where and how
- Open the coupon on the official page and show the barcode at the till. Screenshots are not accepted.
- Who can use it
- Tax-free purchases over the threshold. Once per purchase.
- Stores
- Most Don Quijote, APITA and PIAGO stores in Japan (some excluded).
- Not for
- Alcohol, tobacco, game consoles, non-taxable items such as POSA cards, price-controlled items, single items of ¥100,000 or more before tax. Not with other discounts or a majica card.
Conditions were read on each store’s own page on 2026-09-27 and restated here; the store’s page is what counts, and stores change these without notice. Discounts and tax-free are separate: a coupon lowers the price, tax-free or a tax refund deals with the consumption tax.
