Senba

Senba is the merchants' quarter of old Osaka, the grid between Hommachi and Sakaisuji-Hommachi on the Midosuji, Chuo and Sakaisuji lines, running north towards Kitahama. What our list holds here is mostly buildings: the Mengyo Kaikan, the cotton industry's hall, the Meidi-ya building, the Semba Building with its courtyard cut into the middle of it, and the Ikoma Building with the clock tower. Hongan-ji Tsumura Betsu-in and Namba Betsu-in are both inside the radius, and so are the Yuki Museum of Art and the Tanabe Mitsubishi archive on Doshomachi, the street of the medicine trade.
