Entrepreneurial Museum of Challenge and Innovation

A museum on the achievements of 105 entrepreneurs who made their careers in Osaka. The Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry opened it in June 2001, in the first basement level of the Osaka Industry Creation Center. It aims to pass on the entrepreneurs' ambition, courage and insight to later generations, to raise the spirit of enterprise and form the people who will open up the next age, and through them a society with vitality. The display is divided into three periods: the birth of Osaka as a modern industrial city and the building of its industrial base, the formation of a mass society and the opening of a consumer age, and the making of an affluent age from recovery to prosperity. Panels and objects connected with the entrepreneurs introduce the figures active in each period.
