About

OCAT, the Osaka City Air Terminal, is connected directly to JR Namba Station. It is the largest bus terminal in western Japan and also holds offices, restaurants and shops. Limousine buses for Kansai International Airport and Itami Airport leave from the second floor of the bus terminal, along with intercity express buses reaching as far north as Sendai and as far south as Kumamoto. On the roof is a garden planted with about 200 kinds and 10,000 plants of perennial herbs such as lavender and rosemary, together with trees, an oasis in the city where local people come to rest.
