About

Namba Walk runs 715 m east to west with Osaka Metro Midosuji Line Namba Station as its axis, a shopping street linking Nippombashi Station on the Sakaisuji Line at the east end to Namba Station on the Yotsubashi Line in the west. Made up of two passages, the north street and the south street, it is divided broadly into three zones. Five squares, among them Kujira Park and Forest Park, are places to linger, each with a symbolic monument, and seasonal events are held in them. Art Park in Ichibangai holds the Chicago Gallery, where ceramic-panel reproductions of works in the collection of the Art Institute of Chicago are lined up for passers-by to enjoy.
