About

A skyscraper completed in Heisei 2 (1990) on the west side of Osaka Business Park, where two rivers meet. It won the 12th Osaka Machinami Prize, on the grounds that the distant view of it from Nakanoshima is a representative townscape of the new Osaka as a city of water. The Osaka Machinami Prize honours buildings and streetscapes of outstanding appearance, and has been awarded since Showa 56 (1981) by Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture and the Osaka Prefecture Architects Association together.
