About
A park of 105.6 hectares in the middle of Osaka. Besides the Osaka Castle Main Tower and other historic buildings, it has the Nishinomaru Garden with about 300 cherry trees and a plum grove of 1,245 trees in 105 varieties, so something is in flower in every season. Concerts are held at the Osaka-jo Ongakudo and Osaka-jo Hall, and there are sports facilities such as a kyudo archery hall and the Shudokan. Plant fairs in spring and autumn and evening cherry-blossom viewing in the Nishinomaru Garden are held every year.
