About

Completed in Showa 8 (1933), this building was made by relocating the front entrance of the old Zoheiryo mint. It is designated an Important Cultural Property and is the oldest building in Osaka; the interior was renovated and the venue opened in April 2013. It is also used as a Meiji Emperor memorial hall, and a safe from that period is displayed at the entrance. The banquet room holds 120 seated or 250 standing, and has sound equipment and a large projector and monitor. French course menus made with ingredients from Osaka are served.
