About
Built in Meiji 45 (1912) as the offices of a stockbroking firm. After the war it served as the head office of a trading company dealing in building materials, and in Heisei 9 (1997), after large-scale conservation work, it was brought back with the atmosphere it had when it was built. From the north windows on the second floor you can look across the Tosaborigawa to the rose garden of Nakanoshima Park. It is a registered tangible cultural property of the state.
