Fujita Art Museum

A museum that shows the art the Fujita family collected between the first years of Meiji and the Taisho era. The holdings range widely over painting, sculpture, crafts, documents, calligraphy and archaeological material from China, Japan and elsewhere, with a particular number of fine pieces connected with the tea ceremony. Of about 2,000 works, nine are designated National Treasures and 53 Important Cultural Properties.
