ザ・フェニックスホール

The Phoenix Hall is inside the Nissay Dowa Phoenix Tower at Nishi-Tenma in Kita-ku, opened in 1995 to mark fifty years of the former Dowa Fire and Marine Insurance company. It seats 335, 202 on the lower level and 133 on the balcony, and puts together unusual programmes, chiefly of classical music. Since it opened it has run the Phoenix Evolution Series, lending the hall and its facilities without charge to musicians, professional or amateur, who have real musical quality and are looking for a chance to perform, so that they can take a step forward. The hall is also let for small theatre, lectures, meetings, exhibitions and film.
