周防町通(すおうまちどおり=ヨーロッパ通り)

In Osaka the streets that run north and south are called suji and those that run east and west are called dori. Suomachi-dori runs east and west, the fifth street south of Nagahori-dori, about halfway between Nagahori and Dotonbori. Amerikamura, which spreads west of Midosuji, is a casual quarter for the young; the stretch of this street between Sakaisuji and Midosuji is known instead as Europe-dori, or Europe Village. Paving stones and street lamps run its length, and it has an elegant air, a stylish quarter for grown-ups. European brand boutiques, galleries, cafes and restaurants stand along it, and people are always passing.
