About

The Nagahori underground arcade, named Crysta Nagahori, runs 730 m from Sakaisuji to Yotsubashisuji with a total floor area of 81,765 square meters including the car park, one of the largest single underground arcades in Japan. It connects directly to the Osaka Metro stations Yotsubashi, Shinsaibashi and Nagahoribashi, and over about a third of its length toplights bring daylight down from the street, so it is comfortable to use at any time. It is laid out in four zones, West Town, Fashion Town, Variety Town and Gourmet Town, with about 100 shops covering fashion and goods as well as food, beauty and various services. Murals, objects and other art are placed at points along it, and campaigns and events are held at Taki no Hiroba, the waterfall square.
