Osaka Fukushima Church was designed by Vories, the architect of the Daimaru department store at Shinsaibashi. Work began in Showa 1 (1926), the building was finished that December and it was dedicated in Showa 2 (1927). Two repairs followed, and the great repair of Showa 25 (1950), after the war, changed its appearance entirely.
