About
The Osaka Municipal Nagai Botanical Garden is one of Japan's leading botanical gardens, known as a green oasis in the city. Its grounds of about 24.2 hectares hold some 1,200 kinds of plants, with eleven specialist gardens in all, among them a rose garden, a hydrangea garden and a peony garden, as well as a Life Garden of about 2,000 square metres covered with the flowers of the season and water plants that colour the large pond, so plants in full bloom can be enjoyed through the year.
