About
Nagai Park in Higashisumiyoshi ward, Osaka, opened in 1944 and covers about 66.3 hectares in all. It holds sports facilities including Yanmar Stadium Nagai, where the Osaka International Women's Marathon is run, and Yodoko Sakura Stadium, the home ground of Cerezo Osaka, as well as the large Nagai Botanical Garden, and it is used as a city park by people of a wide range of ages, from the neighbourhood and from further afield.
