真言宗御室派密華山妙法寺

Said to have been founded by Prince Shotoku. The main hall, burned in the Ishiyama war, was rebuilt in the Kyoho years, about 1716. Keichu, called the founder of early modern kokugaku, served as priest here from Enpo 7 (1679) to Genroku 3 (1690) and is said to have written the Man'yo daishoki in this place; the grounds are a designated historic site of Osaka prefecture.
