About
Completed in Heisei 5 (1993). Two 40-storey towers are joined at the top, 170 metres above the ground, and the roof carries the Kuchu Teien (floating garden) observatory, with a view in every direction. A connecting passage on the 22nd floor lets people move between the two towers. About 60 percent of the site is open space, laid out as gardens such as Naka Shizen no Mori, a small woodland, and Hanano, a flower field.
