About
The bronze figure of Yukimura standing boldly in the grounds of Sanko Shrine. It was put up in 1987, and the pedestal is said to use Sanada stone taken from the Sanada family temple at Ueda in Shinshu. Beside it is the Sanada escape tunnel, the underground way to the castle town that Yukimura is said to have dug.
