Hankyu Department Store Umeda Main Store

Hankyu Department Store opened in Umeda, Osaka in 1929 as the first terminal department store in the world, and the Hankyu Umeda Main Store is its flagship. It carries the latest fashion and lifestyle goods to make daily life enjoyable and full, and holds Koto Koto Live events that pass on the thinking of designers and makers, cultural background, and good ways to use what they make. The Festival Plaza on the ninth floor is a large space 16 m high, open through four levels from the ninth to the twelfth floor. Used to put forward new lifestyles and cultural values, it hosts a range of entertainment and limited-run markets.
