舞洲新夕陽ケ丘

Maishima Shin-Yuhigaoka is an artificial hill 25 m high with an open square at the top, a place for sea wind and greenery. Awaji Island and the port of Kobe are in view, and at night the lights of the far shore give the place a romantic air. It is known for its sunsets, and paths called the Winter Solstice Way and the Summer Solstice Way mark where the sun goes down around 22 December and around 22 June. There is also an easy walking route past the Valley of the Four Seasons with its stream, a blossom-viewing lawn and an arbour.
