The building is divided into Ki-no-yu, the bath of wood, with its fresh scent and soft touch, and Ishi-no-yu, the bath of stone, where natural rock and stones are set out boldly for a wild effect; there are baths of many kinds to try. Besides one of the largest open-air baths in Kansai, the red-kiln bath full of negative ions, said to be good for the skin, and the fine mist sauna and the salt steam bath are worth recommending to women in particular. Beyond the baths there are places to eat, massage, a hair cut and skin treatments.
