Ogimachi Park

A park next to Kids Plaza Osaka, whose colourful building design catches the eye. It has large play equipment such as a jungle gym and a mountain slider, a tunnel slide built into a small hill, a rock climbing practice wall and a sports ground. Fountains and a stream, flowerbeds of seasonal flowers and a lawn area are laid out as well, so it is always lively with children, families and older people out walking, and office workers from nearby open their lunch boxes here at midday. The grounds also hold Ogimachi Pool, a facility with a table tennis room and a multipurpose room, and the Osaka City Northern Parks Office. The Tenjinbashisuji shopping arcade, which runs about 2.6 km from north to south, is a short walk away.
