野鳥園南港緑地

Set up to protect the wild birds living along Osaka Bay, which was an important stopping place for migratory birds in Japan. The site covers 19.3 ha, with a hill and woods looking out over the sea, the west pond that becomes an artificial tidal flat at low water, and an observation tower under an octagonal roof.
