        "description_ja": "本橋は、万国博覧会の関連事業として昭和45年（1970年）に完成した。橋長561mのうち、河川中央の低水敷部分に377mの斜張橋形式が採用された。水面から45mのA字形の塔と、そこから斜めに張って主桁を吊っているケーブルが外観上のシンボルにもなっている。本橋の完成に伴い、300年の歴史をもち、淀川最後の渡船場であった平田渡しが姿を消すことになった。名神高速道路への連絡のほか、大阪北部と東部の工業地帯、さらに南港地域を結ぶ交通の大動脈としての機能を果たすとともに、そのバランスのよい外観により都市景観の向上にも寄与している。昭和58年（1983年）から夜間のライトアップも行われており、ランドマークとしての役割は、より一層大きくなっている。",
        "description_en": "Toyosato Bridge was completed in Showa 45 (1970) as a project connected with the World Exposition. Of its 561 m length, the 377 m over the low water channel in the middle of the river takes the form of a cable-stayed bridge. The A-shaped tower standing 45 m above the water, and the cables running diagonally from it to hold up the main girder, are what the bridge is known for in appearance. With its completion the Hirata ferry, which had 300 years of history and was the last ferry crossing on the Yodogawa, disappeared. Besides linking to the Meishin Expressway, it works as a main traffic artery tying the industrial districts of northern and eastern Osaka and the Nanko area together, and its balanced appearance also improves the cityscape. It has been lit up at night since Showa 58 (1983), which has made its role as a landmark larger still.",
