        "description_ja": "梅田の「お初天神通り商店街」を南へ行き当たると、ビルの谷間に露天神社（つゆてんじんじゃ）があります。創建は1300年以上遡るといわれ、少彦名（すくなひこな）命と菅原道真を祭神とする梅田・曽根崎（古くは曽根洲と呼ばれた）の総鎮守です。昌泰4年（910）、菅原道真が太宰府へ左遷配流される途中、当社に立ち寄って「露と散る　涙に袖は　朽ちにけり　都のことを　思い出ずれば」という歌を詠んだことにちなんで、「露天神社」と称するようになったと伝えられています。一方、通称の「お初天神」は、近松門左衛門が元禄16年（1703）4月7日に、当社「天神の森」で起こった堂島新地天満屋の遊女「お初」と内本町平野屋の手代「徳兵衛」の情死事件を題材に、「曽根崎心中」を劇化して大評判になり、大勢の参拝者が訪れたことに由来します。現在も、恋の成就を願う多くの人々が訪れています。毎月第1金曜日には、「お初天神蚤の市」が開かれ、特色ある古物商約30～40店が軒を並べます。",
        "description_en": "Tsuyu no Tenjinsha, read Tsuyutenjinja, stands in a gap between office blocks at the south end of Umeda's Ohatsu Tenjin-dori shopping street. Its founding is said to go back more than 1,300 years, and it is the head tutelary shrine of Umeda and Sonezaki, anciently called Sonesu, enshrining Sukunahikona no Mikoto and Sugawara no Michizane. The name is traced to a poem Michizane composed when he stopped here in Shotai 4 (910) on his way into exile at Dazaifu: scattering like dew, his tears had rotted his sleeves away, when he called the capital to mind. The popular name Ohatsu Tenjin comes from Chikamatsu Monzaemon, who took the love suicide of Ohatsu, a courtesan of the Tenmaya in Dojima Shinchi, and Tokubei, a clerk at the Hiranoya in Uchihonmachi, which happened in the shrine's Tenjin no Mori grove on 7 April 1703, and made it into the play Sonezaki Shinju. The play was a great success and worshippers came in crowds. People still visit to pray that their love will be fulfilled.",

It was founded in Konin 12 (821) by Kobo Daishi Kukai, and its principal image is a thousand-armed Kannon presented by Emperor Saga. Minamoto no Toru, a son of Emperor Saga, later built a full seven-hall complex in the wide grounds, but everything burned in the summer campaign at Osaka in Keicho 20 (1615). The temple was restored in the Genroku era, burned again in the air raids of the Second World War, and was rebuilt after the war in the form it has now. The thousand-armed Kannon has escaped fire after fire and is still enshrined here. In one corner of the grounds is the grave of Yodo-dono, who took her own life during the summer campaign. The League for Establishing a National Assembly was formed at Taiyuji in Meiji 13 (1880), and the Freedom and People's Rights Movement is said to have spread across the country from here.",
