        "description_ja": "吾彦山大聖観音寺（あびこさんだいしょうかんのんじ）・通称あびこ観音は、日本最古の観世音菩薩の寺院です。その昔、この地に住んでいた依網吾彦（よさみのあびこ）の一族が、百済の聖明王から身の丈一寸八分（約8cm）の観音像を贈られ、欽明天皇7年（546）に寺を創建しました。その後、聖徳太子が観音菩薩のお告げを受け、吾彦山観音寺が建てられたと伝えられています。江戸時代には境内に36の支院があるほど隆盛をきわめましたが、明治14年（1881）の火災で多くの寺宝と共に焼失しました。その後、明治23年（1890）に再建されます。毎年2月3日の「節分厄除大法会」には「聖観音」が開帳され、厄除開運・無病息災・諸願成就を祈る人々で賑わいます。",
        "description_en": "Abikosan Daisho Kannonji, commonly called Abiko Kannon, is the oldest Kanzeon Bosatsu temple in Japan. The Yosami no Abiko clan who lived here long ago were given a Kannon image one sun eight bu tall, about 8 cm, by King Seong of Baekje, and founded the temple in the seventh year of Emperor Kinmei (546). Prince Shotoku is then said to have received a revelation from Kannon, and Abikosan Kannonji was built. In the Edo period the temple prospered to the point of having 36 subtemples in its grounds, but a fire in Meiji 14 (1881) destroyed them along with many of its treasures. It was rebuilt in Meiji 23 (1890). At the Setsubun Yakuyoke Daihoe held on 3 February each year the Sho Kannon is opened to view, and the temple fills with people praying for protection from misfortune, for good luck and health, and for their wishes to be granted.",
