It came through the danger of closing for good, and on that occasion the residents started a society for swift recovery, which grew into the Kokusai Shotenkai in Showa 23 (1948). A redevelopment scheme was approved in Showa 52 (1977) and the present building was completed in Showa 55 (1980).",
