    "description_ja": "「薬の町」として知られる道修町のビルの谷間に鎮座し、健康の神・医薬の神として知られる神社です。日本の薬祖神である少彦名命（すくなひこなのみこと）と、中国医薬の祖神・神農炎帝（しんのうえんてい）をご祭神としており、「神農さん（しんのうさん）」とも呼ばれています。安永9年（1780）、以前から薬種商たちが道修町の仲間会所に祀っていた神農氏とともに、京都五條天神社より少彦名命の分霊を勧請・合祀したのが始まりとされています。大阪の土産として人気の「張子の虎」は当社の病除けのお守りです。文政5年（1822）に大阪で疫病（コレラ）が流行した時、疫病除薬として「虎頭殺鬼雄黄圓」という丸薬をつくり、病除祈願し無償でお守りの「張子の虎」とともに配ったところ病気が平癒したと伝えられています。「神農祭」は毎年11月22・23日に行われ、「張子の虎」が配られます。境内には「くすりの道修町資料館」もあります。【2020年状況】月次祭「献湯祭」１０月２３日　１２時半より　※雨天決行※浪速神楽　「湯立」　「式神楽」を奉納間近で御神楽を見物可能",
    "description_en": "Sukunahikona Shrine stands among the office buildings of Doshomachi, the district known as the town of medicine, and is worshipped as a god of health and of pharmacy. Its deities are Sukunahikona no Mikoto, the ancestral god of medicine in Japan, and Shinno Entei, the ancestral god of Chinese medicine, which is why the shrine is also called Shinno-san. It began in An'ei 9 (1780), when a divided spirit of Sukunahikona no Mikoto was brought from Gojo Tenjin Shrine in Kyoto and enshrined together with Shinno, whom the drug merchants of Doshomachi had long kept at their guild hall. The hariko no tora, a papier-mache tiger popular as an Osaka souvenir, is the shrine's amulet against illness. When cholera spread through Osaka in Bunsei 5 (1822), a pill called 虎頭殺鬼雄黄圓 was made as a remedy against the epidemic and handed out free, with prayers for recovery, along with the paper tigers, and the sick are said to have got better. The Shinno Festival is held on 22 and 23 November each year, when the paper tigers are given out. The Kusuri no Doshomachi Museum is in the precincts.",
