    "description_ja": "難波橋（通称・ライオン橋）の南東に建つレトロ建築で有名な大阪取引所（旧、大阪証券取引所）。円筒形の壮大な白亜の外観と、ステンドグラスが美しい玄関ロビーが特徴だ。昭和10年（1935）に竣工、設計は長谷部竹腰建築事務所によるもの。取引所は、江戸時代初期にその起源を遡る。承応・寛文年間（1652～1673）の頃、全国各地の諸藩は大阪に蔵屋敷を設け、年貢米を回送・貯蔵し商人に売却したが、その中で最も有力な商人であった淀屋は現在の淀屋橋の南詰めに居を構え、盛んに売買を行ったことから、次第に他の商人たちも集まりおのずから一つの市場を形成。後に、これが「淀屋米市」と称され、日本の証券取引の始まりと言われる。その後、この市場は対岸の堂島に移され、享保15年（1730年）幕府から公許、堂島米会所と呼ばれるようになる。当時は帳簿上の差金の授受によって決済を行う「帳合米取引」が主であり、世界初の組織化された先物取引所としても有名。2013年に東京証券取引所と経営統合、日本取引所グループの一員となってからは、堂島のDNAを受け継ぎ、先物・オプション取引に特化している大阪取引所。年明けの大発会には、玄関ロビーで着物姿のOLらが一斉に手打ちをする姿が見られる。日本取引所グループの西の拠点として、株式、先物などの証券市場について学ぶことができる施設「OSEギャラリー」は、自由に見学が可能。10人以上の団体の場合は要予約。",
    "description_en": "The Osaka Exchange, formerly the Osaka Securities Exchange, stands south-east of Naniwabashi, the lion bridge, and is known for its old architecture: a grand white cylindrical front and an entrance lobby with beautiful stained glass. It was finished in Showa 10 (1935) to the design of the Hasebe Takekoshi architectural office. The exchange traces its origin to the early Edo period. Around the Joo and Kanbun years (1652-1673) the domains set up warehouse compounds in Osaka, shipping and storing their tribute rice and selling it to merchants. The most powerful of those merchants, Yodoya, kept house at the south end of what is now Yodoyabashi and traded busily, and other merchants gathered there until a market formed of itself. This came to be called the Yodoya rice market and is said to be the beginning of securities trading in Japan. The market later moved across the river to Dojima, and in Kyoho 15 (1730) the shogunate licensed it as the Dojima rice exchange. Trading there was mostly choaimai, settled by paying the difference in the books, which makes it famous as the first organised futures exchange in the world. Since the merger with the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 2013 and its place in the Japan Exchange Group, the Osaka Exchange has carried the Dojima line forward and deals in futures and options. At the first trading of the new year, office workers in kimono clap in unison in the entrance lobby. The OSE Gallery, where the western base of the Japan Exchange Group explains the markets in shares and futures, can be visited freely; groups of ten or more should book.",
