    "description_ja": "崇峻天皇（すしゅん）元年（588年）、聖徳太子により「喜連寺（きれでら）」として創建され、後に弘法大師により再建され、弘仁8年（817年）「如願寺」と改号。木造彩色聖観音立像（もくぞうさいしきせいかんのんりゅうぞう）は平安期作の府指定文化財に指定されているほか、奈良時代の乾漆像（かんしつぞう）である弁財天、平安期の木造地蔵尊（もくぞうじぞうそん）などがある。境内には「灌漑長閘紀功之碑（かんがいちょうこうきこうのひ）」がひっそりと建つ。",
    "description_en": "Nyoganji was founded in the first year of Emperor Sushun (588) by Prince Shotoku as Kiredera, was later rebuilt by Kobo Daishi, and was renamed Nyoganji in Konin 8 (817). Its painted wooden standing statue of Sho Kannon is a Heian-period work designated a cultural property by the prefecture, and the temple also holds a Nara-period dry-lacquer statue of Benzaiten and a Heian-period wooden Jizo. A stone monument, the Kangai Choko Kiko no Hi, stands quietly in the precincts.",
