    "description_ja": "延暦23年（804年）、遣唐使の航路安全を祈願してほこらを造り、一行の帰路を迎えるため、澪標（みおつくし）を立てたのがはじまりといわれている。後に、土地の守護神・海上交通の神として神殿境内が整えられた。澪標は、大阪市の市章のデザインになっている。",
    "description_en": "Miotsukushi Sumiyoshi Shrine is said to have begun in 804, when a small shrine was built to pray for the safety of the voyage of the envoys to Tang China and a miotsukushi, a marker showing the channel, was set up to welcome the party home. The hall and grounds were laid out later, for a guardian deity of the land and a god of sea traffic. The miotsukushi is the design of the emblem of the City of Osaka.",
