    "description_ja": "阪堺電気軌道上町線の帝塚山3丁目駅から東へ歩いて数分。周囲約700メートルの万代池を中心に広がる総面積4.3haの公園。昭和2年（1927）に発行された住吉村誌によると、その昔、万代池には不思議な魔物が住み、人々を悩ませていたが、聖徳太子が四天王寺から人を遣わし、お経をあげさせたところ、魔物は現れなくなった。その時、あげた経が曼陀羅（まんだら）経だったことから、当初は曼陀羅池と呼ばれていたが、いつの間にかその名が訛り、萬代池（まんだいいけ）になったという。現在の万代池公園は子供向けの遊具などが置かれ、ラジオ体操やウォーキングなどを楽しむ市民の憩いの場。桜の時期には地元の花見客でにぎわい、冬はやってくる渡り鳥めあてに野鳥ファンが集う。",
    "description_en": "A park of 4.3 hectares centred on Mandai Pond, which is about 700 metres around. The record of Sumiyoshi village published in Showa 2 (1927) says that long ago a strange monster lived in Mandai Pond and troubled the people, until Prince Shotoku sent someone from Shitennoji to chant a sutra, after which the monster no longer appeared. The sutra chanted then was the Mandara sutra, so the pond was at first called Mandara Pond, and in time the name slurred into Mandaiike. The park today has playground equipment for children and is a place where residents come for radio exercises and walks. In the cherry season it fills with local blossom viewers, and in winter birdwatchers gather for the migrating birds.",
    "description_ko": "둘레 약 700m의 만다이 연못을 중심으로 펼쳐진 총면적 4.3ha의 공원이에요. 쇼와 2년(1927)에 발행된 스미요시무라 기록에 따르면 옛날 만다이 연못에는 이상한 마물이 살며 사람들을 괴롭혔는데, 쇼토쿠 태자가 시텐노지에서 사람을 보내 경을 읽게 하자 마물이 나타나지 않게 됐대요. 그때 읽은 경이 만다라경이어서 처음에는 만다라 연못이라 불렸지만, 어느새 이름이 변해 만다이이케가 됐다고 해요. 지금의 만다이이케 공원에는 어린이 놀이기구 등이 놓여 있고, 라디오 체조나 산책을 즐기는 시민들의 쉼터예요. 벚꽃 철에는 동네 꽃놀이객으로 붐비고, 겨울에는 찾아오는 철새를 보러 들새 애호가들이 모여요.",
