    "description_en": "A museum for the display of folk crafts, mingei, and for the preservation, fostering and spread of the skills behind them. It began in Showa 25 (1950) as a private museum in a converted Edo-period rice warehouse in Dojima that had survived the fires of the war. In Showa 35 (1960), marking ten years since it opened, it moved to its present site into two newly built three-storey reinforced concrete blocks designed on the theme of a castle, and it was registered as a museum. At the heart of the collection are old ceramics from kilns around the country, ko-Tanba and ko-Seto among them, through to fine pieces made today, and these are said to be sold as well.",
    "description_ko": "민중적 공예품, 곧 민예를 전시하면서 그 기술의 보존과 육성, 보급을 목적으로 하는 박물관이에요. 원래는 도지마에 전화를 면하고 남아 있던 에도 시대 쌀 창고를 고쳐 쇼와 25년(1950) 사립 박물관으로 태어났어요. 쇼와 35년(1960) 개관 10주년을 기념해 지금 자리에 성곽을 본뜬 디자인의 철근 콘크리트 3층 건물 두 동을 새로 지어 옮겼고, 박물관 등록을 받아 지금에 이르렀어요. 중심이 되는 소장품으로는 고탄바, 고세토 같은 각지의 옛 도자기부터 지금 만들어지는 뛰어난 작품까지 있고, 판매도 한다고 해요.",
