    "description_ja": "大阪の商売の神「えべっさん」として信仰を集める神社です。 推古天皇の時代に聖徳太子が四天王寺を建立した際、同地西方の鎮護神として 祀ったのが始まりとされています。祭神は天照皇大神・事代主命（戎さん） ・外三神で、戎さんはもともと漁業の守り神であり、古代にはこの辺りは 海岸沿いで、海・里・野の諸産物が物々交換される「市」が開かれ、 その市の守り神としてもこの戎さんが祀られていたそうです。 その後、福徳を授ける神、商業の繁栄を祈念する神としても篤く信仰される ようになりました。特に江戸時代になると、1月9・10・11日の三日間 にわたって「十日戎」の祭礼が開催され、宝恵籠の奉納も行われるように なりました。現在では、年の最初の祭りとして十日戎の3日間に 約100万人を超える参詣者が訪れ、神社から授与される小宝・「吉兆」 （きっちょう）を結んだ福笹を求め、活気にあふれます。",
    "description_en": "Imamiya Ebisu Shrine is worshipped as 'Ebessan', the god of commerce in Osaka. It is said to have begun when Prince Shotoku built Shitennoji in the reign of Empress Suiko and enshrined the deity as guardian of the land west of the temple. The deities are Amaterasu Sume Okami, Kotoshironushi no Mikoto (Ebisu) and three other gods. Ebisu was originally a protector of fishing: in ancient times this area lay along the shore, where a market was held to barter the produce of the sea, the villages and the fields, and Ebisu was enshrined as the guardian of that market as well. Later he came to be strongly worshipped as a god who grants good fortune and as a god prayed to for prosperity in trade. In the Edo period the Toka Ebisu festival came to be held over the three days of 9, 10 and 11 January, with offerings of hoekago palanquins. Toka Ebisu is the first festival of the year, and worshippers come for the fukusasa, a lucky bamboo branch tied with small treasures and the charms called kiccho given out by the shrine.",
